Christian evangelical community visibly over-excited about suspected mention of 'hydroxychloroquine' in recently discovered Bible manuscripts

Christian evangelicals around the world are going through a new wave of excitement with recent archeological discoveries of biblical manuscripts. The reaction of this specific community has been sparked because the find has strains of text that sounds like 'hydroxychloroquine.' This is a potential addition to their arguments in favour of using the controversial medicine in fighting COVID-19.

In a recent interview, the head of the team that led the efforts, said, "We are excited. It is a great find. It only reinforces the fact that the Bible is right, and that there is a never-ending flow of evidence to showcase that. We believe this will help the world better understand the historical authenticity of the Book."

The location of the digging site gained fame barely under an hour after the announcement, with churches and Christian groups announcing trips. This has led to an increased police presence at the site and a lot of chaos. The state authorities have been considering the imposition of a buffer zone so that they can ensure the general safety of the area.

The Central Archeological Authority (CEA) has held two press conferences - one to announce the discovery and the other to talk about what the scripts contained. During the second press conference, this publication specifically asked the CEO of the CEA what the manuscripts contained. He said, "The manuscripts are being analyzed and we will come out with a full statement once that is done. Before I handed them over for analysis, I noted the specific mention ned of a word that certainly sounds like 'hydroxychloroquine.' We would have to verify that before we make our full statement."

Despite this information being unconfirmed, the Christian evangelical community has gone ga-ga over it and is bracing for impact when it is confirmed. We asked a few pastors and believers. They were more than ecstatic and had full confidence that God will come through and support the use of the drug in treating COVID-19.
